DA-VINCI ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM

Da vinci robotic surgical system is manufactured by a company known as Intuitive Surgical,Inc. Many people think that the robot does the surgeries, but really the robot doesnt do (Still,many centuries are there to teach artificial intelligence to the robots !!) . The robotic arm will be controlled by the surgeon remotely and he operates the arm of the robot to perform the surgery.

The da vinci surgical system has operator (surgeon) console and a patient table with four robotic arms which will be controlled by the surgeon from the console. Three robotic arms will hold the surgical tools, and fourth arm has the endoscopic camera with two lens to send the vision of the surgery to the surgeon console.

The surgeon in his console views the 3D images of the surgery through eye holes and controls the robot arms with his two hand controllers and pedals. The intelligent technology precisely converts the surgeon hand movements to control the robotic arms performing the surgery.
