PhD-researcher in “soil plant interaction modeling” - Jobs - EURAXESS

In the framework of the EU-project (FP7 collaborative project) DROPS DROught-tolerant yielding PlantS, we are seeking for an enthusiastic PhD candidate. The question of the PhD thesis is discovering what are the optimal properties (in terms of architecture and hydraulic property distribution) that a root should have to minimize water stress under different environmental conditions (soil types/climate).
