Research Details :


The research involves the development of a preclinical PET scanner for reconstruction of 3D events & compatibility for magnetic resonance imaging. The project involves the assembly of radiation scintillators & wave length shifting in the detectors, design & testing of analog-digital hardware, field programmable gate array firmware, programming & testing of analysis & readout software algorithms for detector simulation and reconstruction of images.

Requirements:

1.) Master degree in physics, medical instrumentation or equivalent.

2.) Experience in medical, nuclear, astro & particle physics

3.) Experience in C/C++, Cuda,LabVIEW, Python,root, VHDL, Verilog programming, image reconstruction & analysis

4.) Experience in monte carlo simulations

ENGLISH QUALIFICATIONS

Toefl - Minimum 550 (Paper based) or 213 (Computer based) or 80 (Internet Based) or
IELTS - Minimum 6

550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 80 (internet-based) on the TOEFL test, or a minimum score of 6.0 from the IELTS (academic) test.
