MRI RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN CANADA

Post : Magentic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Research Fellow

Location : Department of Medical Imaging, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Collobration : Department of Medical Biophysics (Imaging Research)

University : University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada

Research Devices : Two clinical scanners (Health centre). 1.5T, 3T and animal scanners (Medical Imaging Department)

Requirements :

Fellowship candidates must have completed an accredited Radiology training program and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Diagnostic Imaging or American Board of Radiology certified/eligible or Certified with equivalent qualifications and well proficient in both written and spoken English

Goals of Fellowship:

1.) Knowledge of cutting edge MRI techniques for the investigation of cardio-cerebro-vascular disease.
2.) Participation in hypothesis driven research and in clinical trials
3.) Developing MRI clinical applications

Aim of Fellowship

1.) Development of Clinical MRI Research methods, Imaging protocols,image post processing
2.) Interaction with patients, researchers ; Application of ethics
3.) Publishing research findings in international journals , conferences
4.) Involve in research meetings, educational teaching
