The project will identify new molecular markers/targets of primary bone tumours involved in the tumour development and dissemination. The applicant will seek to identify specific gene finger prints for osteosarcoma/Ewing's sarcoma cells using cutting-edge molecular and cellular biology/ in vivo approaches to elucidate the functional implications of the identified genes. The candidate must be highly motivated and well versed in basic molecular biology and biochemical techniques.
