Post Doc Fellowships in cancer proteomics (Belgium)

The Metastases Research Laboratory is hiring a post-doctoral research fellow to conduct research in the field of cancer proteomics with a focus on the identification and validation of new biomarkers suitable for the development of targeted therapies of liver metastases from colon carcinoma.

It is MANDATORY that the successful candidate is a very motivated and enthusiastic scientist with an experience in proteomics (sample preparation, mass spectrometry analysis) but also in the evaluation of biomarkers expression (immunohistochemistry).

Experience in the field of human cancer will be a major advantage as well as the demonstrated ability to carry on experiments independently. It is also indispensable that the applicant can write, read, understand and speak fluent English.

The contract is for one year with a potential to be extended to four years.
