Scope of the Symposium
The main aim of the Symposium is to enable participants to understand the scientific
principles that underpin medical imaging techniques, the function of imaging technology and the application of medical images in the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.

All the lectures will be delivered by eminent Radiologists, Medical Physicists, Biomedical Engineers, Scientists and other experts from reputable institutions or industry, who are working in this field.

Call for Posters
We invite delegate posters on any of the subjects listed in the Course Content. The presenter of the best poster as adjudged by a jury will receive an attractive cash prize.Please send a soft copy abstract of your poster on two pages to the convener. Registration is compulsory.
Registration Fee
For Delegate: Rs 400;
For Industry: Rs 2000;
Registration fee is to be paid through Demand Draft, drawn in favor of “Biomedical SRM”, payable at Chennai.
Once paid, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The fee includes Symposium Materials, Kit,Lunch and Snacks. All participants will be given a certificate on completion.
Travel Assistance
Limited funds are available to participants who will be coming from states other than Tamil Nadu. Those who are interested in obtaining a one-way shortest route non-
AC sleeper 2nd class train fare should send a request letter to the convener. The selection will be based on ‘first come, first serve basis’.
Free Accommodation
This will be provided for all outstation participants in the SRM University Hostel.
How to Apply
