ASSISTANT ENGINEER JOB IN SINGAPORE

Responsibilities:

Provides technical assistance to all hospital personnel in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
Assists Senior Engineer / Engineer (Biomedical Engineering) in commissioning of new medical equipment, breakdown and preventive maintenance, updates inventory and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
Supervises the maintenance contractors to ensure all works are being carried out with recognised standards and quality.
Meets regularly with user department to obtain feedback on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipment.
Checks, analyses and investigates faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment. Maps out and implements the action plan.
Updates inventory and history records of medical equipment.
Assists Senior Engineer / Engineer (Biomedical Engineering) in coordinating services and development projects with vendors and contractors.
Assists Senior Engineer / Engineer (Biomedical Engineering) in providing support for all inspection and acceptance activities related to new and development projects.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor


Requirements:

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic or Electro-mechanical Engineering is preferred.
At least 3 years relevant experience in a biomedical field

Working Hour: 5 day work week
