Job Responsibilities:
In this research position you will plan, prioritize, and conduct laboratory experiments with minimal supervision. You should be able to adapt procedures from the literature and learn how to perform new methods rapidly and reproducibly. Additionally, you will maintain a detailed laboratory notebook, contribute to the analysis of results, and be comfortable presenting at internal meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, bio-, or biomedical engineering and 2 years of experience or a Master’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the area of protein and drug delivery formulations (i.e., microsphere production and characterization) would be highly desirable. Familiarity with hydrogels, tissue engineering, particle analysis, surface analysis and/or mechanical testing would also be beneficial.
