Center : Biomedical Imaging Group, University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands
In Erasmus MC, the Biomedical imaging group is investigating how the chances of survival of patients with very severe lung disease are influenced by the different abnormalities we can see on X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) scans of the lungs in these patients. Within this project we are looking for a programmer to develop an annotation tool to enable quantitative image analysis.
In this project, you will (mainly) implement an intuitive graphical user interface to allow for easy, manual scoring of different lung abnormalities(possibly) help developing algorithms for automated image analysis .
You will be placed in the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR) at Erasmus MC and work in close collaboration with Marleen de Bruijne (BIGR) and Martine Loeve (Erasmus MC - Sophia).
You should have ample programming experience in C++. Experience with (biomedical) image analysis is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
You will get a temporary position of at least two months full time, with possible extension. You can choose to work part-time for a longer period instead (no less than 2 days a week). Depending on your level of experience the gross monthly salary, on full time basis, will be around € 2570.
The position is available from March 16 .
