Introduction
The scholarship provided is for Bachelor's Degree holders to study for a Master’s Degree (MS). Scholarship is provided for 2 years of study in a Master’s program at National Chiao Tung University or National Tsing Hua University, in exchange for a work commitment to ITRI following graduation of 2 years.
What does this Program Offer?
‧ Scholarship NT$360,000 per year.
‧ Additional research stipend when participating in dissertation research projects at ITRI
‧ Employment commitment to ITRI for 2 years after graduation
The scholarship offer to eligible students up to 2 years (MS degree) is contingent on annual review of academic performance. Scholarship holders failing to meet academic standards as required by partner universities may lose eligibility for this scholarship. Students must not apply for other scholarships for overseas students provided by their school or other institute.
Training Program at ITRI
‧ Individual Research Advisor appointed by ITRI to assist and guide the coursework and thesis.
‧ Internship opportunity at ITRI for project executing and acquiring practical experience.
Eligibility for Scholarship
‧ Applicants must have excellent academic performance and moral character, and may not hold Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality nor be classed as overseas Chinese students.
‧ Engineering, Technology Management, or related majors, Bechelor or Master degree.
‧ Academic record and English ability must meet standards for university applied to.
Application Procedure
‧ Interested candidates should apply directly to the University of their preference, National Tsing Hua U. or National Chiao Tung U.
‧ University will take responsibility for student's application, evaluation and related matters.
‧ In your application letter, please specify your interest in the ITRI Graduate Scholarship Program.
