Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student with a strong background in theoretical physics and/or mathematics, an affinity for biophysics and an interest in working in close collaboration with experimentalists. The project involves developing and applying excitable media models to study signalling processes in developing early embryonic systems under changing mechanical conditions. We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary and growing research group that uses both analytical and numerical techniques to implement these and similar models and compare them to experimental data.
